My auto loan paperwork said the extended warranty was optional but I was told that I was required to purchase an extended warranty to get the promotional interest rate. Do I have to purchase it?

If you believe that your dealer has misrepresented the terms of an agreement, you may file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission   and your state attorney general   or state consumer protection office . Also, you may want to consider contacting a private attorney for assistance.
